Daniel leads Lions Vision Services as President and Chief Executive Officer, overseeing program service delivery in all 46 South Carolina Counties, setting and implementing the strategic vision for the organization, along with the Board, and leading the organization’s fundraising and external affairs. He is the fifth and youngest CEO in the organization’s more than 50-year history.

Since joining the LVS staff in February 2020 Daniel has helped LVS navigate the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, launched a new statewide collaborative initiative (the Palmetto Vision Alliance), assumed management of the Santee Blind Fishing Event, and led a joint nonprofit eyecare initiative with multiple agencies (Vision for South Carolina). In his ten years as a Lions Club member Daniel also served on the LVS Board of Directors, including as Chairman, prior to being hired as staff.

He has raised millions of dollars for organizations in Christian higher education, environmental conservation, and human services. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, a Master’s Degree in Philanthropy and Development, the Certified Fund Raising Executive certification from CFRE International, is a graduate of Leadership South Carolina, and is a South Carolina Ports Ambassador.

In addition to his work at LVS, Daniel has served on several regional boards and steering committees. He is currently Second Vice District Governor of Lions International District 32-C, a Board Member of the Dorchester County Historical Society, and Deacon of Multiplication at Great Commission Baptist Church. He was appointed to and chairs the Dorchester County Conservation & Greenbelt Advisory Commission in 2023 by Dorchester County Council. He is a member of professional associations including the Association of Fundraising Professionals, SC Planned Giving Council, Together SC, and CFRE International.

He and his wife, Angel, live in Summerville with their son, Joseph. They frequently visit State Parks across South Carolina. Daniel is studying to become an apprentice falconer and is Level 2 Certified by the National Association of Rocketry to fly high powered rockets.
