As Program Director, Frances is responsible for the overall management and impact of the flagship eyecare program at Lions Vision Services: the Affordable Eye Surgery Program. She works extensively with the LVS eyecare provider partner network, regularly traveling the state to engage with partners, expand the network, and ensure partner satisfaction with program operations. She is a patient advocate for LVS clients, helping individuals navigate the application process and the eyecare industry.
Prior to her work at LVS Frances spent several years in a development role with another nonprofit in the South Carolina Midlands. She brings experience with database management, event coordination, and donor and volunteer relations.
Prior to entering the nonprofit realm, Frances was a kindergarten teacher and briefly worked in early intervention. She also worked as a freelance writer, creating web content and magazine profile pieces. Frances holds a B.A. in Child & Family Studies from Columbia College and an M.Ed from the University of South Carolina.
Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, doing yoga, spending time with family and watching documentaries.
