Terry has been an independent financial planner since 1985, advising families, individuals, small business owners, charitable foundations and various trusts. He has built a career based upon listening to the client’s needs and goals and developing personalized strategies to grow and protect investment assets. He has been contracted as LVS’s Financial Advisor since 2013.
As a registered representative and investment adviser representative of Capital Investment Brokerage, Inc., Terry has consistently been named to the firms Presidents Council and has been recognized as one of the firm’s Top Ten Producers. The professional designation of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER was attained in 1994.
Terry played a vital role in the establishment of Capital Community Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)3 organization that provides for the establishment and management of donor directed funds. He continued to expand his expertise in the non-profit arena as a founding member of Altura Advisers LLC. Terry recognizes that the long-term success of a charity’s ability to develop and grow endowment and other funds for fulfilling a non-profit organization’s mission statement is through a well-designed and consistent planned giving program.
Terry earned Bachelor of Science degrees in agriculture economics and animal science from North Carolina State University in 1980. The Bass Family resides in Harnett County, NC and supports their church community, enjoys horses, sporting events and travel.
