As Executive Vice President, Winn is responsible for running all day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the organization with a focus on client services and programs. She studied Accounting at Columbia College and spent the beginning of her professional career in the Business Personal Property and Insurance industry. Passionate about people, she sought to make a career change to a field that would allow her to serve others, which eventually landed her at Lions Vision Services, originally as the Programs Coordinator, where she has worked for over a decade.
During her decade of leadership at LVS, Winn has grown the organization’s Affordable Eye Surgery Program into the most comprehensive and inclusive program of its kind in the state of South Carolina. She has developed and built partnerships with over 80 ophthalmologists, anesthesiologists, and surgery centers around the state that now span 30 counties in South Carolina, 3 counties in North Carolina, and 1 in Georgia.
In addition to her work at LVS, Winn has taken on a number of leadership roles within South Carolina Lions Clubs, including Club President, Secretary, and Treasure of the Columbia Lions Club (the oldest in the state) and District Peace Poster Coordinator. Her work has been recognized with two International President’s Certificates of Appreciation from Lions Clubs International.
Winn’s strong interpersonal skills made her a great fit for the organization, allowing her to build meaningful relationships with the Lions of South Carolina as well as our Program Partners. The stories of our clients and how our assistance impacts their lives drives her desire to continue to work to build our organization so that no one needlessly lives in darkness.
She lives in West Columbia with her family and enjoys running races throughout the state.
